It was a parade of fashion and style last Sunday, as women who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavours were honoured by Exquisite Magazine at the Exquisite Ladies of the Year Awards (ELOY). The award ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos.
The event, which was sponsored by Baileys, was indeed the convergence of the crème de la crème of the entertainment, fashion, and music industries. Among them were Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett, Ireti Doyle, Osas Ighodaro, DJ Nana, Funke Akindele, Elvina Ibru, Kenny Saint Brown, Mimi Onalaja, DJ Lambo, and several others.
Explaining why Baileys supported the awards, Ufuoma Udjoh, Brand Manager for Baileys said that the success story of Baileys is to celebrate the stylish and contemporary women in their various fields of endeavours. “Baileys is always ready to create a platform to celebrate our women and ELOY has provided the right platform to value and celebrate women,” she said.

Also speaking at the event, Tewa Onosanya, Publisher of Exquisite Magazine and organiser of the ELOY award said the initiative of the award is to celebrate all women as the make impact in their endeavours.
“All over the world women are taking giant stride and it is importance to appreciate them because of their importance in the society”. The big winners on the night were Funke Akindele who won the Brand Ambassador award, Omoni Oboli as Actress(Big Screen) of the Year, Osas Ighodaro as the TV Actress of the Year and Blessing Egbe as the Female Film Producer of the Year.
